Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland 7 Jan 1957: "Mrs. Anna Bahen, 73, died yesterday afternoon at her home, 14 Washington St. Born in Lonaconing, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Johanna (Collins) Nolan. Her husband, John Bahen, preceded her in death. Mrs. Bahen was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and the Sodality of that parish. She is survived by two sons, Martin Bahen at home and Dennis Bahen, stationed with the Air Force at Andrews Air Force Base, Washington, D. C., and a daughter Mrs. John Laing, Skokie, Ill. The body is at the Hafer Funeral Home. The Sodality of St Michael's church will recite the rosary tomorrow at the funeral home at 8 p.m. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated Friday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Michael's by Rev. Regis F. Larkin, assistant pastor. Interment will be in the parish cemetery."
