Mr. Nathan L. Baker, age 80, of Glen St. Mary, Fla. died Monday, Nov. 5, in the St. Vincent's Medical Center, Jacksonville, Fla. following an extended illness. He was born in Chipley, Fla. and lived in Tampa and Baldwin, Fla. before moving to Glen St. Mary, Fla. in 1967. He was the son of the late George H. and Rosie Belle Womble Baker and was the widower of Pansy B. Baker.

He worked as a refrigeration mechanic with Fruit Growers Express, Baldwin, Fla. for over 27 years until retirement. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Macclenny, Fla., an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict, a former volunteer with the Baldwin Fire Department, enjoyed wood working, flying model airplanes and visiting craft shows.

He is survived by his daughter, Tina Mobley of Macclenny, Fla.: His son, Aaron (Carol) Baker of Baldwin, Fla.: one brother, Horace H. Baker of Riverview, Fla.: Four grandchildren, Celeste Baker, Jennifer Cribb, Joseph Bland and Jesselyn Mobley: Three great-grandchildren, Chrissy Lamunyon, Cayla Barber and Zoey Cribb.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M., Friday, Nov. 9, in the First Baptist Church, Macclenny, Fla. wit Dr. Edsel Bone, Senior Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Manntown Cemetery, Glen St. Mary, Fla.
