Frank was born in Rich Fountain, Missouri to Heinrich Franz "Henry" Rehagen and Mary Caroline Scharlandt. He was baptized on June 3, 1886 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain, with Francis and Gertrude Schroeder as sponsors.

Frank was married to Catherine Lock on June 29, 1909 at in Meta, Missouri, and they had three children.

Frank was a carpenter and wagonwright.

Frank died of tuberculosis when he was only 28 years old.


Frank Rehagen Dead

It is with a pang of regret that we are called upon to chronicle the passing away of Frank Rehagen, who surrendered his seat to the justice of God Tuesday night (January 27, 1914) at about 10:30 after a lingering illness of tuberculosis of the lungs at the age of 28 years, 2 months and 20 days. He was the son of Henry Rehagen and Mary Schallant [sic] and was born at Rich Fountain on the 7th of November 1885. When a young man he learned the wagon maker trade under Ben Schafer and in 1907 came here and followed his occupation under John Bax and subsequently under Joe Nacke.

He was married on the 29th of June 1909 to Miss Catherine Lock, daughter of Herman Lock of this place who survives him. Their union was blessed with 3 children, two of whom are living; the youngest being only a week old at the time of his death. His also survived by his father, four brothers; John of this place; Conrad of Jefferson City; Herman of Rich Fountain, and Ben of Westphalia; four sisters; Angela, wife of John Bax of Freeburg; Miss Mary who is staying with her father; and Misses Rose and Frances of Maplewood.

Among the non-resident relatives in attendance at the funeral were Conrad Rehagen and son; John and Herman Rehagen of Rich Fountain, [...] and wife, Henry Stuckenschneider and Mrs. T[...]; George [...] of Belle; and Miss Josephine Lock of St. Louis.
