Bill B. McMinn, age 71, of Knoxville, TN died Wednesday, November 7, 2012.

He was a native of Bradford, TN and the son of the late Wylie D. and Ruth Stratton McMinn. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Earlene, Wilma, Benthal, and Addie.

Visitation will be from 10:00 until 2:00pm Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro, TN followed by a 3:00pm graveside service at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Military Rites.

Mr. McMinn is survived by his wife, Wanda B. McMinn of Knoxville, brother, Curtis McMinn and his wife Joyce of Florence, AL, stepdaughter, Margie Newman and her husband Dave of San Diego, CA, stepsons, Ken Dickey and his wife Pamela of Rockford, TN, and Bryan Dickey of Knoxville, TN.

Mr. McMinn was a 1959 graduate of Central High School and attended Middle Tennessee State University. He served his country in the 3rd Armored Division during the Cold War in Gelnhausen, Germany. Mr. McMinn was Vice President of Purchasing with Wright Industries in Nashville, TN until his retirement.

He was involved in several organizations including the Purchasing Management Association, Association of 3rd Armored Division Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the American Legion.
