Mrs. Annie B. Brown, the widow of George B. Brown, formerly a merchant at Montgomery, died at 1:30 o'clock Friday at Montgomery where she made her home with her son George Brown.

Funeral services will be held at the United Brethren church at Montgomery Monday morning at 10 o'clock and burial will be made in Bethany cemetery. The Rev. C.K. Grimes will officiate at the funeral. Mrs. Brown was a member of the United Brethren church and the Montgomery Rebecca lodge.

Mrs. Brown had been in failing health for two years, her illness dating from an attack of influenza. She had been bedfast for one month. A complication of diseased caused her death.

The deceased was born in Borrowston, Scotland, June 26, 1863. She and Mr. Brown were married in Scotland and shortly afterwards they came to the United States. They had been residents of Montgomery for something like 35 years.

Surviving Mrs. Brown who was one of Montgomery's most highly respected citizens are the following children: Mrs. J. C. Smith, Mrs. Charles Enkoff and George Brown of Montgomery, John Brown, of Oxford, Miss., Mrs. J.W. Kennedy, of Jeffersonville, Ind., and Mrs. W. A. Murray, of Linton.
