Mrs. Eleonore LaJoie Dies in 92nd Year.

LOWELLL - Mrs. Eleonore (Gelinas) LaJoie widow of Charles LaJoie died this morning at her home, 363 Hildreth St in her 92nd year, after a lingering illness. Three years ago Mrs. LaJoie celebrated her 89th birthday anniversary with children of the fifth generation being present. She was born in Yamachiche, P.Q., and has been a resident of this community for over half a century. Mrs. LaJoie was one of the founders of St. Jean Baptiste parish, and was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis and St. Anne's Sodality of that Parish. Surviving her are six daughters, Miss Angeline and Anna LaJoie both of Lowell, Mrs. Amedee Gelinas of Montreal, Mrs. Eugene Marcotte of Grandmere Canada, Mrs. Alfred Patenaude, and Mrs. Albert Gauvin both of Lowell; Six sons, Dianis LaJoie of Dracut, Ovila, Joseph, Alphonse, Lucien, and Henri LaJoie all of Lowell; and a Sister Rev Sister St. Marie de la Nativite of the Grey Nuns of Hotel Dieut de Nicolet, Canada. 49 Grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren, Two Great Great Grandchildren, and also several nieces and nephews.
