Paul Fredrick Jueling was born in Oschersleben, Germany.

Rev. Jueling was the minister at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tacoma, Washington. The church was located in the heart of the Volga German neighborhood on the corner of South 23rd and Cushman streets. He encouraged the members who were born in Russia to become American citizens. He held weekly classes at which he taught them English and helped them study for their citizenship. He was loved by all.
As with all families, there are heartaches. His daughter Irma Johanna died at age 25, specifically caused by albinism. His son Paul died at Normandy, France, during World War II and is interred there.
