Josephine married Gus Bock in Clackamas County in 1901. They divorced in Marion County in 1905. I can find no conclusive proof that Josephine took her maiden name back. She was on the 1910 census as Vinnie J. Bock- divorced.
She was on the 1920 census as Josephine V. Bock- divorced.
She was on the 1930 census as Josie Knight- divorced.
She was on the 1940 census once again as V. Josephine Bock, this time as widowed.
She is listed in the State of Oregon death index as Vinnie J. Knight and in her funeral notice in The Oregonian newspaper as Josephine Knight. I believe she was more than likely still Josephine Bock at the time of her death. I would suppose it may be possible she legally changed her name back to Knight before she died but I rather doubt it.
