Lucy Martin, 56, of Box 351, Denver R3, died Tuesday at the Ephrata Community Hospital after a one year illness.

She was the wife of Marcus Z. Martin.

Born in New Holland, she was the daughter of Lydia Shirk Martin, Martindale and the late Isreal M. Martin.

A 36-year Denver resident, she was a
homemaker and a member of Muddy Creek Mennonite Church.

Surviving in addition to her mother and husband are six sons: Marlin M., Penn Yan, N.Y.; Cleon M., Bunbee, N.Y.; Edward M., Liberty, Ky.; James R., Narvon; Stanley and Samuel, both at home.

Also surviving are five daughters: Ruth Ann, wife Ivan Brubaker, Thorpes, Wis.; Lena Mae, wife of John Shirk, Liberty, Ky.; Anna Marie
Martin, Wilma Martin and Loretta Martin, all at home; and 18 grandchildren.

Also surviving are four brothers, John Martin, Akron; Melvin Marlin, Martindale; Amos Martin and Israel Martin, both of New Holland; three sisters, Esther, wife of Enos Weaver, Martindale; Eva, wife Titus Operholtzer, Lititz;
and Anna Mae, wife of Edwin Shirk, Akron: and several nieces and nephews.
