Funeral services for Terry Edwin Black (1955-1958), three year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul E. Black of Jacksonville, formerly of Palatka, will be held today at 4 o’clock in Masters Memorial Chapel. Rev. W. F. Oddy, pastor of Hillcrest Baptist Church, will officiate and interment will be in Oak Hill East Cemetery.
The young boy died at 4 p.m. Thursday after being struck by an automobile in Jacksonville.
Besides the parents, a brother, Garry, Jacksonville; and two grandmothers, Mrs. Dollie Black, Palatka, and Mrs. Durden, Plymouth, survive. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd Saturday, 25 Oct 1958.)
