Betty J. Mackley, 92, died Sunday, September 7, 2014, at Providence Place. She was the wife of the late Jack B. Mackley. Betty was born in York on June 19, 1922, a daughter of the late Albert P. and Minnie A. (Poet) Stough. She was a seamstress for the former Jack's Womens Clothing. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. The viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. tomorrow at Calvary Baptist Church, 2740 Roosevelt Ave. Extd. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Rich Hall officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Betty is survived by a daughter, Karen Sterner, wife of Dennis, of Spokane, Wa.; two sons, Jeff Mackley, husband of Wendi, and Jack Mackley, husband of Mary Beth, all of York; eight grandchildren, Michael, Nate, Amanda, Ian, David, Becka, Andrew, and Josh; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Isabell Stetler of York.
