Marjorie (Peggy) Mcrae Hollenbeck was born in Fruitland, Idaho on November 16, 1913, the daughter of James and Isabella Hill. She passed away peacefully in Ontario, Oregon on November 6, 2012.
She grew up in Fruitland, and graduated from Fruitland High School in 1931. She married Charles Robert (Bob) Hollenbeck in 1935. Peggy earned a B.A. in Education at Oregon State University. She taught in public schools and retired as Librarian of the Junior High library in Ontario. Peggy enjoyed reading, traveling and visiting with family.
She is survived by sons, Robert R. Hollenbeck (Carol), of Roseburg, Oregon, and James M. Hollenbeck, of Ontario; granddaughter, Jill Hollenbeck, of Denver, Colorado; grandson, Bruce Hollenbeck (Rhiannon), of Littleton, Colorado; and great-grandson, Rhys Hollenbeck, of Littleton. She also leaves behind good friends, Patty Amato, Clif Baxter, Russ Caster, Sonok Deutscher, Leslie Duff, Rudy Henggeler, Jan Iseri, Carla Skoglund and Debbie Van De Weerd.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; two brothers, Everett and Chuck; and four sisters, Iona, Louise, Berniece and Tina.

A visitation will be held from 2 - 4 P.M. on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Lienkaemper Chapel in Ontario. A memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, November 12,2012 at Lienkaemper Chapel. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Payette, Idaho.
