Personal Memories: My grandmother was an awesome cook and good lay out a spread with a variety of food and deserts. She never complained except when my grandfather talked too much or too loud at which point she would say "Edward!!!Go Outside!!. She let the grand kids ransack her house for anything we needed to play outside. My grandparents would set up tents in the yard, get up in the middle of the night to go make sure their were no ghost (they lived by the dry creek cemetery), let us chase the chickens, name the cows, and wander the woods. Grandma always made us watch the Ms. America Pageant and The Sound of Music and attend church and Sunday school if those things where going on while we were there. She took us on trips to see Plantations and family members always with a stop at a graveyard to find somebody. She died after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Although she died with out these memories, I will cherish them forever.
