Cleve Jones was the son of Cleve E. and Bernice M. Morris Jones. He married Doris Toland on November. 23, 1940, in Palmyra, Missouri.

He was survived by a daughter, two sons, five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and three sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.

He owned and operated Jones TV in Rushville and retired in 1985.

Mr. Jones was a member of Rushville First United Methodist, a member and treasurer of Schuyler County Building Commission, a Rushville City alderman, a 50-year member of Odd Fellows Lodge 24 and a sponsor and active member of the Rushville Little League.
