Maitland, Lunenburg County - Irving J. Joudrey, 90, of Lunenburg and formerly of Maitland, died Monday in Harbourview Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg. Born in Maitland, he was a son of the late Albert and Emma (Slauenwhite) Joudrey. He is survived by his wife, the former Violet Barry; two daughters, Katherine Joudrey, Mahone Bay; Vera ( Mrs. Don Nickerson), Spryfield; two sons, Fred, Oakhill; Charles, Ontario; three stepsons, James Barry, Purcell's Cove; Hector Barry, Saskatchewa; Dennis Barry, Blockhouse; three sisters, Ellen Oickle, Stanburn; Hazel (Mrs. Freeman Weelant) and Margaret, and a brother, Charles, all of the United States. He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Hilda Eickle; a daughter, Pauline; two brothers, Harry and Clarence. The body has been cremated. memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Christ's Anglican Church, Maitland, Rev. William Dye officiating. Burial of ashes will take place at a later date.
