Mrs. Lena Statham Giddens, 86, of Manchester, died February 14 at the home of her daughter in Manchester. Funeral services were held February 16 at Northside Baptist Church. Burial followed in Meriwether Memory Gardens, according to Cox Funeral Home, Manchester.
Mrs. Giddens was born October 29, 1913 in Worth County, the daughter of the late Carrie Ethridge Statham and David Statham. She was retired from the former Callaway Mills in Manchester, was a member of Northside Baptist Church and was the widow of Riley Lee Giddens.
Survivors include a son, Kenny Giddens of Woodbury; a daughter, Margaret Thompson of Manchester; a brother, John Statham, also of Manchester; a sister, Maggie Taylor of Poulan; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
