Mrs. Crowder was born October 6, 1916 in Warm Springs, the daughter of the late Annie Mae Leverett Butts and William Burt Butts. She was a homemaker and a member of the Warm Springs Baptist Church. She was a lifelong resident of Meriwether County, and was the widow of Thomas Anderson Crowder, Sr., her husband of 54 years.
Mrs. Crowder is survived by two daughters, Linda Joyce Myers of New Kent, Virginia and Cynthia Crowder Adams of Warm Springs; son, Thomas A. Crowder, Jr., of Warm Springs; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; one sister, Eunice Butts Conway of LaGrange.
Cox Funeral Home of Manchester was in charge of arrangements.
