Mrs. Louise Doebert, widow of late Mr. Edward Doebert, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Hugo Koehler of 1522 S. 17th street, at 3:45 p.m. Saturday after a short illness of heart trouble.
The deceased was born in Germany, February 24, 1851, and came to this country 54 years ago. She was united in marriage with Edward Doebert of the town of Wilson on April 26, 1874, the ceremonies taking place at Plymouth. Deceased was 77 years of age.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Fred Kreuger of the town of Holland, Mrs. John LeMahieu of the town of Lima; Mrs. Oswald Wolfram of this city; Mrs. Albert Nack, Mrs. Paul Steinhaus and Mrs. Hugo Koehler, all of this city; three sons, Carl of British Columbia; Henry of town Lyndon and Walter of town Wilson; twenty-one grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Carl Mueller of Plymouth, and one brother, Johann Wittkopp of Plymouth.
Last rites will be observed from the home of Mrs. Oswald Wolfram, 1333 New Jersey avenue, at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, and at the Emanuel Lutheran church at 2 p.m. The Rev. Edward Meier of the town of Wilson will conduct the services, and burial will be made in the Lutheran cemetery.
