Sister Patricia Ann Brinker was interred in a private ceremony Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at St. Mary's Cemetery, Cumberland, Maryland. Sister Patricia Ann, of St. Mary's Parish, was a member of the Mission Helpers of the Sacred Heart for 66 years. She died on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at The Villa, the Community's retirement facility in Baltimore, Maryland. She was 87 years old. A Mass of Resurrection was celebrated August 18, 2012 at the Villa. Born February 14, 1925 in Cumberland, Maryland, Sister Patricia Ann served parishes in Pennsylvania, Arizona, South Carolina, New York, Colorado, and Maryland where she was Pastoral Minister at Our Lady of Pompei Parish in Baltimore. She was preceded in death by her parents: John Casper and Mary Adele (Foley) Brinker; and her brothers: Dr. John G. Brinker and Dr. Raymond R. Brinker. Sr. Patricia Ann is survived in her immediate family by her five sisters: Dr. Rita E. Brinker of Cumberland, Maryland, Mrs. Dorothy Pacella of McMurray, Pennsylvania, Dr. Eileen Brinker-Steele of Frostburg, Maryland, Mrs. Arthur J. (Catherine) Arenholz of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Mrs. Adele Whipple of Beaver, Pennsylvania; her sisters-in-law Mrs. Helene Brinker of Great Barrington, Massachusetts and Mrs. Claire Brinker of Houston, Texas; her brother-in-law Arthur J. Arenholz of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
