Germaine Haro Becker Widmer, 95, passed away peacefully November 6, 2012.

She is survived by her two sons George J. "Buddy" Becker III (Kathleen), Gary Becker (Brigitte), and her daughter Gay Hedderel; five grandchildren, Cynthia Becker (Addi Ouadderou), Scott Becker (Jessica), George Allen Becker (Tonya), Ben Becker (Hayley) and Katy Becker; five great grandchildren, Zachary Becker, Meredith Becker, Aurora Becker, Acadia Becker, and Isaac Becker.

She was the owner of The Party Bazaar in New Orleans and Metairie, LA. for over thirty years; past president of the Crusaders Garden Guild, belonged to St. Angela's Ladies Assn.,St. Francis Xavier Sharing Program, a charter member of the Friends of Lafreniere Park, Bon Temps, Lakeside Homemakers, and the St. Francis Bunco Club. She moved to Sun City Center, FL after Hurricane Katrina.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a funeral mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery) on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Visitation Monday morning from 9:00 AM until funeral time.

Interment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum, New Orleans, Louisiana
