Year of birth estimated from age at death.

Grand Island (Nebraska) Daily Independent Wednesday, November 3, 1920

Henry Grapentine, old time resident of Grand Island and for years a section man on the Union Pacific and later flagman on the Pine street crossing, was found dead in his bed Wednesday morning at 6 o'clock, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Albert Burger, 601 West Seventh street. Mr. Grapentine worked on the street all day Tuesday, ate a hearty supper and was feeling good before he retired. Heart failure is attributed as the cause of his death. Mr. Grapentine was 74 years of age. Mrs. Burger is the only daughter living in the family, a son having preceded the father in death.
