Orville Lee Zachary, age 73, of Eubank, Ky. passed away Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007 at his residence.

He was born in Mt. Victory, Ky. on July 7, 1934 to the late Vernon Oliver and Dayton Lenora Sells Zachary. He was a retired foreman, served in the Navy and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by four sons, Donald (and Karen) Zachary, of Union, Ky., Ronald (and Davina)Zachary, of Taylor Mill, Ky., Michael (and Carolyn) Zachary, of Pigeon Forge, Tenn. and Randall (and Diane) Zachary, of Melburne, Ky.; four daughters, Nancy Leffler, of Erlanger, Ky., Deborah (and Darrin) Davis, of Crittenden, Ky., Sharon (and Ron) Miller, of Winter Haven, Fla. and Wanda (and Malcolm) Stewart, of Kodak, Tenn.; three sisters, Anna Zachary (and George) Young, of Eubank, Ky., Elizabeth M. Zachary Farris, of S. Roxana, Ill., Margie Zachary (and Bob Hamson), of Cincinnati, Ohio; 25 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Marie Hodge Zachary, whom he married Feb. 12, 1953 in Pulaski County; two brothers, Perry Oliver and Ernest Doyle; and several nieces and nephews

Funeral services for Orville Lee Zachary will be held on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007 at the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home at 11 a.m. with Bro. Delmer Whitter and David Hoge officiating. Interment will follow in West Somerset Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007 at 9 a.m. at the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to God's Helping Hands.
