Harold "Jacob" Tinklepaugh was born on May 20, 1907 in Moosic, PA to Jacob Nathaniel Tinklepaugh and Lydia Ann (McCracken) Tinklepaugh. Educated in Moosic schools, he had to drop out of school in middle school years as he had to go seek work to help the family. He married Gertrude Mullin in 1928 and together they had 3 children (2 daughters, 1 son). Some of the highlights of Jacob's career include working for the U.S. Postal Services maintaining the fleet of mail trucks, and working in the garage with his brother Herman. He passed on November 28, 1984 and is buried at the Marcy Cemetery.
