Final rites for Mrs. C. J. Willette, 53, who died late Tuesday at her home in Harvey, were conducted at the residence this afternoon at 2 o'clock.
The Rev. James Be??, pastor of the Court Street Methodist Church, and the Rev. E. E. McKeithem, pastor of the Petal Methodist Church, conducted the rites. Burial was in the new city cemetery.
Mrs. Willette had been a resident of this city for about 17 years. She was a member of the Court Street Methodist Church.
She had been ill for nearly a month prior to her death.
Pallbearers were: Joe Gibson, Robert Rollings, Dewitt Cameron, Jr., Richmond Morris, Mike McElhaney, and Harmon Sherrell.
Surviving Mrs. Willette are: her husband, C.J. Willette, her parent, Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Rawls, Sumrall, Rt. 2; two sons: J. H. and T.J. Willette of Hattiesburg, six sisters; Mrs. A. Barlow and Mrs. O. M. Johnson of Hattiesburg, Mrs. S. Simmons of Foley, Ala., Mrs. J. G. Snelson of San Pedro, Calif., Mrs. S. T. Williams of New Orleans and Mrs. A. D. Haskel of Los Angeles, Calif.; two brothers: P.D. Rawls of Marshall, Texas, and W. Rawls of Chicago.
