Jean M. DeVun, age 82, a resident of Mandeville, La., formerly of River Ridge, La., passed away January 16th 2009, beloved wife of the late Denis J. DeVun, and loving mother of David Carl DeVun, John Daryl DeVun and of the late Denis J. DeVun, Jr. Grandmother of Jessica Nicole DeVun, David Carl DeVun, Jr., John Michael DeVun, Justin Daryl DeVun, and Kristyn Lynn DeVun. Jean was born in Hamilton, Ms., and is the daughter of the late Carlos and Avis McDaniel, and sister of the late Carlos McDaniel, Jr., and is survived by her brothers Jake, Wayne, and Kenneth McDaniel, and J. W. Barham. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN MEAIRIE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL at 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery), on Tuesday, January 20th, 2009 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 20th, 2009 at 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, and internment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
