Funeral services for Mrs. Ole Peterson were held Sunday, Aug. 10 at 1:45 p.m., from the Anderson Funeral Home and at 2:30 p.m., from the Finnish Evangelical Lutheran church in Moe township, Rev. R. W. Heikkinen officiated. Interment was made in the Finnish Evangelical Lutheran cemetery in Moe township. Pallbearers were six nephews: Clarence Haabala, Raymond Haabala, Francis Haabala, Archie Haabala, Carl Haabala and Reuben Olson.

Anna Kreeta Peterson, nee Haabala, was born in Simo, the province of Oulu, Finland, April 7, 1880. She came to this country and settled at the Iron Range in 1899. She was married to Ole Peterson March 30, 1903. This family moved to Moe township in 1912, and continued living there on the farm until recent years. Mrs. Peterson became ill three years ago and has been an invalid until her death in Aug. 16th.

Mrs. Peterson is survived by her husband, Ole Peterson, three sons, John in California, Carl of Moe township and Arthur with the American Air Force in Japan; two daughters, Sigrid, Mrs. August Schumacher, in Carlos, and Inez, Mrs. Clarence Woody, in California; two sisters, Mrs Kaisa Kaarlejarvi in Finland and Mrs. Hilda French in Alaska; four brothers, Jacob Haabala in Moe township, John Haabala in California and Andrew and Carl Haabala in Finland.
