Mrs. Ole Oines passed away Wednesday morning at the family home in Moe township after a lingering illness of tuberculosis.

Christine Josephine Lake was born in Sweden February 2, 1928, he daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Lake and was one of a family of five children. she came to America with friends in 1887 and made her home with them in Renville County for six months. From there she went to Minneapolis, where she lived for several years. In 1892 she was married to Ole Oines and they came to the town of Moe, where Mr. Oines had previously bought a farm. This has been their home ever since. Nine children were born to this union only seven of whom survive. One daughter Hulda died in infancy and a son Robert passed away at the age of 15 years. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband and the following children: Mrs. John Johnson, Alexandria; Mrs. Hannah Olson, Moe township; Mrs. Anna Westley, Minneapolis; Mrs. Frank Garmer, Jewett, Wis.; Mrs. Kathryn Haynes, Blair, Neb.; John and Willie at home.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1 o'clock at the Anderson Funeral Chapel and at 2 o'clock at the Finnish Lutheran church in Moe. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
