The funeral of Miss Alice Beck who passed away July 25th at the hospital in Minneapolis was held on Sunday afternoon. Miss Beck was 23 years, 5 months and 28 days old at the time of her death. She left to mourn, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Beck; five sisters, and their families. The pallbearers were Oscar Pipo, Reuben Hogan, Erving Lehto, George Lehto, Charley Mattila and Alex Mattila. Rev. S. A. Krankala and Rev. Bestul officiated. The funeral was largely attended. Interment took place in the Finnish Evangelical Lutheran church cemetery.
