He had worked for Sears for over 23 years as a mechanic and worked as a Manager of Auto Zone for 7 years. He was a Charter member of the Deerwalk Volunteer Fire Department and had been active for 36 years serving as Secretary on the Board of Directors for many of those years. He loved riding his 4 wheeler and in his younger years was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing, he loved spending time with his family especially his grandsons whom he adored. He loved reading his Bible and was a member of the Middle Ridge Baptist Church.
He is survived by and will be sadly missed by his family; His wife of 26 years, Beverly Rose Bungard Uppole of Deerwalk;
his son, Charles E. Uppole of Deerwalk;
his grandsons, Dylan Keith Uppole and Wyatt Lucas Uppole of Deerwalk;
his brothers, Gary Uppole and wife Kathy of Parkersburg and Howard Uppole and wife Martha of Deerwalk;
his sister-in-law, Barbara Uppole of Texas;
eight nieces and nephews, eight great nieces and nephews and one great-great nephew.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Uppole;
two sisters, Linda Husk and Nina Hendershot;
one infant nephew.
Funeral service at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg with Reverend Roger Barnes officiating. Burial in the Middle Ridge Cemetery.
