HALTOM CITY - Gladys Gentry, 84, a homemaker, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2002 at a Houston County care center.

Graveside service: 11 a.m. Saturday in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.

Gladys was born July 5, 1917, in Ponder. She was a resident of Fort Worth for over 65 years and a member of Fort Worth Christian Center of Haltom City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lee Gentry; and oldest son, Bobby Lee Gentry.

Survivors: Sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Judy Gentry of Crockett, Charles (B.W.) and Carol Gentry of Jacksonville and Shirley Gentry of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Daniel and Robert Gentry, Jerry Gentry, Cheryl Turn, Carolyn Robinson, Wendy Stirling, Amy Gale, Larry Gentry and Heather Winchester; 12 great-grandchildren; and sister, Juanita Rogers of Dallas.
