Mrs. L. Annabelle Bryant

L. ANNABELLE BRYANT (ALEXANDER) passed away peacefully at Neshaminy Manor on Oct. 11 with her family at her side. The first of three sisters, Annabelle was born Feb. 14, 1924 in Muncie, Indiana to Millard Elijah Alexander and Mary Frances Alexander (Holmes). The family moved to New Jersey where Annabelle graduated from West Orange High School, with a full scholarship to art school.

She married after the war and raised her five children in Caldwell, NJ. She was preceded in death by her husband James I. Bryant, her sister Millie and her grandson, Robert. She is survived by her son John Wick (Judy), daughters Pat Miles (Dave), Jeanie Hauck (John), Sue Apgar (Ted) and Sally Trace (Chet). In addition to her children she is survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Annabelle was a talented artist, seamstress and writer. She was a resident of Naples FL for 25 years where she worked in sales and as a secretary before moving to Horsham, Pa. Wherever she lived, Annabelle was an enthusiastic volunteer. She volunteered at the Conservancy of Southwest Florida, Aullwood Audubon Center and Farm in Dayton, Ohio and the Delaware Valley Historical Aircraft Association in Horsham.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 11, 2012, at the Decker Funeral Home, 216 York Road, Warminster, where friends will be received from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to a charity of choice. Arrangements by Decker Funeral Home, Warminster.
