M.C. Berg died at his home last Wednesday a week ago at 10 o'clock A.M. after about one month's illness, his trouble being cancer of the stomach. Mr. Berg had not been in good health for a long time. Deceased was born in the province of Helsingland, Sweden, Sept. 25th, 1887, and came to this country in 1869. Mr Berg was a true christian and respected as such by all who knew him. The funeral exercises were held from the residence Friday afternoon conducted by Rev. Hedlind. Interment was made the Hillsdale cemetery--Madrid Register News
