Mr. Taylor, 32, of Bolivar died at 3:33 p.m. Monday in Northwood Hills Care Center at Humansville.

He was born in Springfield, the son of James Rowland Taylor and Linda Stockstill Gilchrist.

He was a member of the Bolivar United Methodist Church and graduated from Bolivar High School in the class of 1998.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Neil Stockstill and Floyd and Neta Faye Taylor; and his stepfather, Ralph Gilchrist.

He is survived by his son, Lane Tristan Taylor, and his mother, Kayla Dutra, and Lane's grandparents, David and Connie Tindle, all of Bolivar; his mother, Linda Gilchrist of Bolivar; his father and stepmother, James and Debbie Taylor of Bolivar; one brother, Bruce Hood and his wife, Tonna, of Bolivar; one sister, Kim Trobisch and her husband, Stephen, of Bolivar; three stepsisters, Laurie Gilchrist of Macon, Angela David and her husband, T.C., of Willard and Kara Bortner and her husband, Stephen, of Republic; three stepbrothers, David Gilchrist of Bolivar, Jeff Gilchrist of Austin, Texas, and Nick Edelman and his wife, Karena, of Camdenton; his grandmother, Irma Stockstill of Bolivar; many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous nieces, Nnhews and friends.

Musical selections will be "Go Rest High On That Mountain" by Vince Gill and "Chattahoochee" by Alan Jackson. Burial will follow at Mount Comfort Cemetery in Greene County. Pallbearers will be Lane Taylor, Bruce Hood, Bryce Hood, Neil Henenberg, Sam Trobisch and David Tindle.

Service: 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar with Stephen Trobisch speaking. Visitation: 1-2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, just prior to service time at the funeral home with a video presentation played during that time.
