Tania moved to the United States in 1956 with her family. On August 25, 1968 she married her loving husband, Jose Antonio Diaz, with whom she recently renewed her wedding vows after 40 years of marriage. Tania spent 12 years at the University of Tampa as an Acquisition Librarian surrounded by her love for books and literature. Tania enjoyed summers in Siesta Key, crafting, fine art and music, but mostly she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Tania is survived by her husband, Jose Antonio Diaz; daughter Adriana Benito and son-in-law Mike; daughter Alina Diaz; son Marco Diaz; mother Rosa Silva; brother Amaro Silva and sister-in-law Ada; brother Daniel Silva; in-laws Ernestina and Manolo Rivero and her grandchildren Brianna and Edward Benito. Tania will also be missed by her niece, nephews, aunts, cousins and many personal friends. She was predeceased by her father, Amaro Silva.
