Beulah made beautiful needle point and did lovely tatting. She was always busy with her hands doing something with yarn and thread. She could knit and crochet among many others. She played the piano and loved classical music. She loved little dogs and owned several over the years. She was also a wonderful baker. You could stop by her home anytime and get a cup of coffee and a piece of cake or something sweet.
The Britton Journal, 1931....Buss-Willison....A surprise was in store for the many friends of Miss Beulah Buss and Dorsey Willison when they were informed last Saturday that this young couple had slipped away to Sisseton and were quietly married by Rev. F.D. Martin of the Presbyterian church, that day. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Jake Olson, of Lake City, sister and brother-in-law of the groom. Mrs Willison is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.J. Buss, old residents of Lowell township, and Mr. Willison is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Willison, of Lake City. Their many friends will join with the Journal in extending the very best of wishes to these worthy young people. No definite announcement has been made of their plans for the future.(bio added by aritha buss)
