Theresa M. Morrow, 56, of Bellic Street in Claremont died peacefully at her home on Sunday (February 12, 2012) surrounded by her family following a courageous battle with cancer..
She was born in Newark, NJ on October 2, 1955 the daughter of Ronald and Pauline (Martin) Companion and had been a longtime Claremont resident. She was a graduate of Stevens High School, Class of 1974. Theresa had been employed by Sugar River Savings Bank and McManus Dental in Newport, NH and more recently in the finishing department at Crown Point Cabinetry. She was a member of the Foresters Auxiliary in Newport, NH and the AL Post #29 Women's Auxiliary in Claremont, NH. She was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. She enjoyed playing cribbage and video games but first and foremost, family was her most important interest.
Members of her family include her husband, William R. Morrow, Claremont, NH whom she married on September 7, 1985, a son, John Desilets and his wife, Christie, Claremont, NH; two grandchildren, Corey Desilets and Brendan Desilets, her father and step mother, Ronald and Charlotte Companion, Claremont, NH; four brothers, Michael Companion and his wife, Lydia, Warwick, MD; Peter Companion and his wife, Sharon, Daniel Companion and his wife, Jane, David Companion all of Claremont, NH; two sisters, Rita Gibson, Pembroke, NH; Susan Roy, Claremont, NH and several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her mother and a brother, Raymond Williams.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday in St. Joseph's Church, with the Rev. Stanley J. Piwowar, officiating. Committal will follow in Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the Roy Funeral Home, 93 Sullivan Street, Claremont, NH on Friday from 4 – 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Connecticut Valley Homecare/Hospice, 958 John Stark Highway, Newport, NH 03773.
