"Burton Breit, nine-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Breit, died Monday at 1:30 am in Salem Hospital after an illness of two weeks. Death was attributed to rheumatic fever. The child was born in Newton Falls April 1, 1939, the son of Albert and Anna Breit. He was a member of the Methodist Sunday School in Berlin Center and was a third grade student at Berlin Center school. Besides his parents he leaves two brothers, Leroy and Delbert, and a sister, Martha, all at home. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Berlin Methodist church, and burial made in the North cemetery."
