Marriage, Carrie Belle Ott, August 25, 1904, Waynesboro, Washington Township, Franklin County, PA.

They lived at Blue Mountain, on the corner of Edgemond Road and Blue Mountain Road, Washington County, MD. He worked at Pen Mar Park, collected money for the Penny Arcade as well as The flying Horses.

OBITUARY :
GEORGE C. HAHN, aged 64 died at 7 o'clock this morning at his home, Blue Mountain, Smithsburg, Route 2. He had been in failing health for the last ten years and was critically ill since November, 1948.

He was born at Smithsburg, Route 2, the son of the late William N. and Harriet Shuttle Hahn and had lived his entire life in the Blue
Mountain section where he had farmed.

He was a member of the Blue Mountain Church of God.

Surviving are his wife, Carrie Bell Ott Hahn; and the following children, Mrs.Fred Barkdoll, William E. Hahn, Eugene E. Hahn, Mrs. Leonard Shifflett, Mrs. Edward Barkdoll, all of Smithsburg, Route 2; Mrs. Clarence Beam, Mrs. Marie Fuss, Mrs. Harvey Minnich, of Waynesboro; and Norvin G. Hahn of Trenton, New Jersey; also

13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; three brothers, Charles Hahn, Waynesboro; John L. Hahn, Stanley Hahn and a sister, Mrs. Charles Grable, all of Smithsburg.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Blue Mountain Church of God in charge of the Rev. C. W. McGaha.

Interment will be made in the Bethel Church of God Cemetery near Cascade.

Friends may call Saturday evening from 7 until 9 at the Grove Funeral Home and from 1:30 until the hour of service at the church on Sunday.
