Wray - David Lee Wray, age 81, of Lawrenceville, Georgia went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 4, 2012. Funeral service will be 2 PM Saturday, November 10, 2012 in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Mac Palmer officiating. Interment will follow at North Atlanta Memorial Park. He was a graduate of Bessemer High School in Greensboro, North Carolina and his military service includes; 2 years in the US Coast Guard and 4 years in the United States Air Force as a photographic interpreter while participating in the Korean conflict. He was an active member of the local VFW and American Legion. David retired from DeKalb County as a programmer-analyst after 17 years. He was preceded in death by his parents James Rogers and Edith Beatrice Wray and daughter Denita Lynne Wray Bartlett. He is survived by his wife of 57 years: Betty Sue Neese Wray; Daughters: Terrie Bennett and Carol Kaswinkel; Son-in-law Matthew David Kaswinkel of Dawsonville, Georgia; 5 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; Brother and Sister –in-law: James Donnie and Betty Lou Wray of Greensboro, North Carolina, as well as other relatives and a host of friends. In lieu of Flowers memorials can be made to Embracing Hospice Care 3180 Presidential Drive Suite: G Atlanta, GA 30340.
