DANVERS - Catherine D. (Staubus) McClure, 85, of R.R. 2, Danvers, died at 11:10 p.m. Tuesday (Jan. 9, 1996) at her home. Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, Danvers, with the Rev. William S. Vincent Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Park Lawn Cemetery, Danvers. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Otto-Argo Funeral Home, Danvers, and for one hour before the funeral at the church Saturday. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Danvers.

She is survived by a daughter, Deanelle Schieber, Carlock; four sons, Darwin McClure, Danvers; Dennis McClure, Lancaster, Calif.; Donald McClure, Hampshire; and David McClure, Ottawa; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Dick Campton; one daughter, Peggy Swearingen; and one sister.

She was born Jan. 1, 1911, in Dry Grove Township, McLean County, the daughter of Samuel and Hattie (Deal) Staubus. She married Willard Campton Feb. 10, 1931. She later married Dean McClure Jan. 3, 1948, in Bushnell. He died Aug. 26, 1988.

Mrs. McClure worked at Imhoffs Store, Danvers, and was a partner in the family dairy farm.

Mrs. McClure was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Danvers, the Danvers Presbyterian Women's Association and the Dry Grove Friendly Circle.
