The son of Eric & Erica (Mattson) Heggblom & the daughter of Johan & Mathilda (Almberg) Johnson, were married on July 25, 1894 in Iron Mountain, Dickinson, Michigan. Carl Almin, Justice of the Peace officiated the ceremony with J.P. Erickson & Axel Johnson, both of Iron Mountain, attendents.

Charles Johan Heggblom, 61, a resident of Iron Mountain for the past 40 years & employed as a

foreman for the Oliver Iron Mining Company for 19 years, died at 2:10 a.m. this morning at home,

601 Houghteling Street. A tumor of the lungs, from which he suffered from the last 8 months was

the cause of death.

Mr. Heggblom was born in Oland, Finland. 2 sons & 2 daughters survive: John, Carl, Len & Hulda,

all living at home. One sister in Finland & another in Sweden. Interment will be in Cemetery Park.
