It all began on a spring day in 1949, when Charlie and Rosie Gray of Rockwall, Texas celebrated the arrival of a baby boy on March 24. They named him Gene Carol Gray.
Gene was educated in the Rockwall Independent School District and ultimately graduated from Rockwall High School, with the prestigious call of 1969. He later relocated to Dallas, Texas in 1967.
Gene met and married the love of his life, Evelyn Bircher on September 22, 1984. Together they worshiped at God's Holy Temple Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Gene and Evelyn truly understood the meaning of enjoying life. Gene loved sports, traveling, singing and especially cruises.
Gene worked tor Texas Instruments for twenty-two years and retired from the Pioneer Frozen Food in 2010 after eighteen years of service.
