F. Roma Carlstrom, 91 of Ontario passed away Monday, November 5, 2012.

Roma Carlstrom was born Nov. 4, 1921 in Fairfield Nebraska. She and her husband, Vernon came to Ontario area in 1944 and eventually became farm owners in the Lincoln Heights area. There they raised their four children Margaret Noble, Betty Petty, Connie Bell and Ken Carlstrom.

She was a long time member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Ontario, where she was an active member during building of the new church, taught Sunday School and served on the Ladies Aide. She also was a part of the Lincoln Heights Ladies Patch and Chat.

She is survived by her children, 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. She was proceeded in death by her husband, long term companion Red Waggoner, her parents and both siblings. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her and loved her.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Noon at the Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Ontario. A viewing for family and friends will be held at the Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and prior to the services at the church. Vault interment will be held at Rosedale Memorial Gardens on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 2:00 pm.
