Actor. Born Elmer Stephen Clark in Davis County, Indiana, from the 1930s to 1950s, he appeared in over 300 films. Cast primarily in western movies, he was featured in over 30 films made by Republic Pictures and many RKO Studios. His credits include "Beyond the Law" (1932), "The Laramie Kid" (1935), "Western Gold" (1937), "Thunder River Feud" (1942), "Law of the West" (1949) and "The Night Riders" (1952). He also was a regular on the TV series "The Gene Autry Show", "The Roy Rogers Show", "Adventures of Wild Bill Hickok", "The Lone Ranger", "The Range Rider" and "The Cisco Kid", He died at age 63 in Van Nuys, California.
