Edward was the husband of Tharessa (Hammond) Ricketts

He was the son of Issac Ricketts and Philena (Litz) Ricketts

Edward Ricketts was a descendant of Captain Edward Ricketts, one of the first white settlers of Clearfield co., PA, died December 1933. Dervices were at the home in Coalport, december 19. Burial is in Utahville Cemetery. Surviving are his wife and nine sons and daughters.

Fitch of Beccaria; a brother, Elijah of Flinton; three sisters: Mrs Phelina Matthews of Coalport; Mrs Ella Decker of Altoona, and Mrs Melissa Chaplin of Flinton.

He had 20 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren
