Born February 1, 1931 in Missouri, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Mae (Wallace) Precise.
Mrs. Mumper was retired from Dickinson College, Carlisle, where she was the secretary to the college librarian. She was a Girl Scout Leader for many years and was very active in Tres Dias. Doris was a member of Orchard Springs Fellowship, Aspers, where she also served as a Sunday School Teacher.
Surviving are her husband: Jay; a daughter; Sue Schreiner of New Cumberland; two sons: John Mumper of Lewisburg, Pa and Mike Mumper of New Cumberland; two sisters: Perry Precise of Huntingtown, MD and Rosemary Clemens of Pine Grove, Pa; a brother: Ken Precise of Butler, Pa; 10 grandchildren: Brian Schreiner, Chrissy Derr, Eric Mumper, Craig Mumper, Kyle Mumper, Michael Mumper, Jr., Katherine Mumper, Abigail McMahon, Elizabeth Johns and Sarah Mumper; and eight great grandchildren.
