Mrs. Tamar Lydia Chagnon, 69, for 20 years a resident of Aberdeen, died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. C. Strayer, 515 North M Street, following a lingering illness.
She was born in Clark county, Missouri, and came to Grays Harbor from Winnemucca, Nevada. Mrs. Chagnon operated the Kinnison apartments here for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Frank E. Chagnon, Battle Mountain, Nevada; two daughters, Mrs. Strayer, and Mrs. Guy H. Johnson, Omaha, Nebraska; a son, Rex R. of Aberdeen; and two sisters, Miss Belle Cochran of Aberdeen and Mrs. Eliza Gregory of Medford, Oregon. A grandson, George O. Hill of Seattle also survives her.
