Deborah Lynn Rose, 59, of Galax passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012 in the Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax, VA . Deborah was born November 4, 1952 in Radford, Virginia to the Edgar Branscome and Mary Vernon Branscome, both of whom preceded her in death. Deborah is survived by her husband Robert Rose of the home; son Gary Lee Carroll of Galax; step-daughter and husband: Alicia & Jeremiah Gilbert of Gloucester County, Virginia; sister and husband Sandra Branscome Gallop and Derwood of Chesapeake, Virginia; five grandchildren: Hailey Carroll; Logan Carroll, Nathan Carroll, Slade Stroinski and Crystal Gilbert. Two nieces and one nephew also survive. The funeral service will be held Thursday, November 8, 2012 in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Roger Redd officiating. Interment will follow in the Popes Knob Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
