Patricia Olewinski, age 75, of 3615 Benzinger Rd., Mishicot, died Friday, November 2, 2012 at her home after a short fight against cancer. Pat was born January 24, 1937 in Springfield, Massachusetts to the late James and Mary Braica, graduated from Cathedral High School with the class of 1954, and St. Agnes Home Training School for Nursing in 1956. She practiced in private duty before serving in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1959-1961, where she was a Lance Corporal, secretary to the Colonel of Supply in Quantico, Virginia. On May 6, 1961, Pat married the love of her life, Roger C. Olewinski, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Springfield.

While raising their four children in nearby Agawam, Pat was active in local politics, and served as President of the PTA and Woman's Auxiliary of the Polish American Club. Pat and Roger relocated their family to Tisch Mills, WI in 1981, where she became an avid Packer fan. Pat operated the Forst Hall with her husband, and worked for Krauses Market/ Main Street Market in Mishicot. Pat loved to cook, garden, play cards and board games, knit, crochet, sew, quilt, and spend time with her family.

Pat is survived by her husband Roger; three sons Gregory (Marlis) Olewinski, Roger Jr. (Ginny) Olewinski, Robert (Kim) Olewinski; one daughter Lisa (Tom) Heyroth; ten grandchildren Cassie (Devon) Hicks, Aidan, Nathaniel, Elizabeth (Nathan Udell), Alyssa, Jessica, Jennifer, Andy, Louis, Jerrod; four great-grandchildren Bernadette, Addyson, Aubree, MaKennah; two brothers James (Iris) Braica, William (Ellie) Braica; two sisters Jean (Renzo) Ceccarini, Agnes (Mario) DeLucchi; and many extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by one brother Louis Braica.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00a.m. on Wed., November 7, 2012 at St. Isidore the Farmer Catholic Church in Tisch Mills, with the Reverend Dennis Drury officiating and assisted by Deacon Robert Pribek with burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
