Eric was born on July 9, 1976 in Hanford, CA and was son to Derick Alan and Joann Donna Parsons. Eric joined our Lord after a sudden illness on Thursday, August 2, 2012 in Hanford, CA. At the age of 4, Eric and his family moved to Salinas, CA and lived there until he was 11. Then they moved to Lemoore, CA where he has lived for the past 25 years. Eric attended P.W. Engvall Jr. High School followed by graduating from Lemoore High School in 1994. After high school Eric worked in retail and was a Sales Manager for 10 years.

Eric met the love of his life, Stephanie, in 2003 and was married in 2010. Eric and Stephanie made their life together with their children: Cameron and Candice, in Lemoore, and have another one on the way, Cayla. Eric proved to be a family man by having the pleasure in taking his family on many vacations. They especially loved taking trips to the beach, because they all loved the ocean. Eric and his grandma, Yoko, had a special bond with one another, which allowed him to carry on the Japanese culture throughout his life. The bond built between Eric and his brothers has grown to be everlasting, and it will continue to keep them strongly tied to one another.

Eric loved to draw and was a very talented artist from the time he was in junior high school and throughout his life. He also had a passion for collecting, cultivating and trimming Bonsai trees. Another one of Eric's passions in life was being a sports fan. He especially enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia with his son and was a huge fan of the LA Lakers. During Cameron's first year of education he was homeschooled by Eric who did an excellent job. Cameron continued to excel in public school and made his father proud.

Eric is preceded in death by his father: Derick Alan Parsons, grandparents: Donald and Yoko Baughman, and "Nana" Nancy Parsons, and his uncle: Tim Baughman. Eric is survived by his loving wife: Stephanie Parsons of Lemoore, CA and their three beautiful children: Cameron (7 years old), Candice (11 months old) and Cayla Parsons on the way (due October 22, 2012). Eric will also be missed by his beloved mother: Joann Parsons of Lemoore, CA and brothers and sister in laws: Jeremy and Jenae Parsons of Ridgecrest, CA, Daniel and Vanessa Parsons of San Luis Obispo, CA, and Donald Parsons of Lemoore, CA. Eric leaves behind his grandpa: "Papa" Burt Parsons of Gloucester, VA, and his aunts and uncles: Rick and Sandy, of Alabama, Stacy and Susan Brandt, of Gloucester, VA, Burt Parsons, of Gloucester, VA and Greg and Pam Parsons of Glendale, CA; also many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Eric will be forever in the hearts of those he loved and those who loved him.
